New way is to export the environment variable.

Run the command
cat .profile
, because I don’t know where you added the code. It should in a file with the name .profile

	for profile in /etc/profile.d/*.sh; do
		test -r "$profile" && . "$profile"
	done
	unset profile

I asked about the file in your home folder.:slight_smile: It should be like artoo posted. If it does not exist, create a file with the code from above.

i think is that with the name .xprofile ;

Ensure that QT5 apps follow GTK theme

export QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=gtk

Ok, then open it with a text editor and the replace the code you have with

#
# ~/.profile
#
#

[[ "$XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP" == "KDE" ]] || export QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME="qt5ct"

[[ -f ~/.extend.profile ]] && . ~/.extend.profile

and save, then logout and login.
