Proper displaylink driver installation

Hello, I am wondering what the proper way to go about installing the displaylink driver for my ASUS driver is? I installed the displaylink driver and evdi but my monitor is laggy when i try to drag windows around or do anything.
My system specs via the inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width command are:

Anyone know about this? It seems like there isn’t much documentation around the internet about this.
