Are you talking about a task manager? For xfce, that is xfce4-taskmanager.

I have to admit I’m a bit perplexed by your question. If you actually mean monitoring, there are plenty of ways to do that, my favourite being htop.
If you could explain in more detail what you actually want to achieve, that will likely be really helpful. Thanks!

I am always perplexed when i find such kind of server/enterprise grade questions in a user-grade free public forum. From people that didn’t even read the manual. And usually on positions with six figure salary. I mean, if one manages servers, one should know the arch wiki and google, right?

If they gave zero extra context:
- 80% chance: they mean
acct/process accounting- 15% chance: they actually want historical resource monitoring (
atop/sar)- 5% chance: something more advanced (cgroups or auditd)

And I would have guessed kernel auditing aka auditd.. Sad

I literally put less than 10 seconds of thought into my reply - just as the OP possibly put 10 seconds of thought into posting and requesting support.
So I opted for a singular blunt response, ignoring the many paths ('cos it’s not a clear answer without a clear question).
Wrong answer - fine, let them respond before wasting any more time.
