Problems Using Cascadia Font with vscode and Chrome

I have removed all files related to the Cascadia font and then installed it using pacman

The font is installed and can be used in most applications (FreeOffice, Pluma, FireFox) but it will not work in VS Code or Chrome

Has anyone managed to get this working?

Have you tried rebooting, or at a minimum, restarting all applications in which the font is having issues? Running applications won’t recognize newly installed fonts until they are restarted.
