I’ve installed distro Big, that is Manjaro based, however, I can’t make my printer HP LaserJet P1102w work in it. The system recognizes the printer and install it automatically, but it doesn’t work, allways is as it was paused and I can’t change this status. I’m a noob in this system to the point I had installed Manjaro in place of Mint (that was presenting some problems in my PC), but I gave up it and have installed Big because it is easier to use, so I apologize if it seems to be a fool question, but I really need some help since I’m not able to work without this printer…

first check if the package cups-filters is installed, if its not installed, install it, and reboot
if its installed, check this possible solution

Do you have hplip installed?

Have you tried seeking support at Big?

Yes, it also is default in the system.

I’ve tried help from Big community, however I didn’t have answers.

Do a clean install of Manjaro - this forum does not support unknown spin-offs

Use the hp laserjet 4 driver - it works for nearly everything.

Allthough @linux-aarhus has a valid point, the possible solution lies in search the forum…
