Random stuttering on video-intel-nvidia-prime

Every once and a while the entire screen freezes for a few seconds, accompanied with a two core spike in CPU usage. this only occurs with the integrated display and when not connected to an external display. The stuttering can occur even when no programs are open.

Reading related questions on here, it appears that my
/etc/X11/mhwd.d/nvidia.conf
is important, however, it contains only:

##
## Generated by mhwd - Manjaro Hardware Detection
##

I have no /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but i do have a 0B file at /etc/X11/xorg.conf.nvidia-xconfig-original
the issue persists across linux419, linux61, linux62, and linux63

It might be swapping.

Or maybe baloo indexing your files.

Added 3G swap file, and killed all baloo processes, stuttering still present

Additional, i notice a mention of two displays, Screen-1 and Monitor-1, and feel i should clarify that i only have one display attached at the moment, that being the integrated one.

In Ksystemlog, noticing repeated input event losses:
Information [ 26621.490] (II) event20 - CUST0001:00 04F3:30AA Touchpad: SYN_DROPPED event - some input events have been lost.
also happens with external mouse:
Information [ 26785.415] (II) event5 - Razer Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro: SYN_DROPPED event - some input events have been lost.
Perhaps this is not a graphics issue?
during freeze anything moving freezes as well.
tested with donut.c in Konsole

Maybe it might be like this??

I cannot use nvidia-drm.modeset=1 because the 2060 cannot render directly to my integrated display, so on boot i get black screen
