Canon Pixma MG5450S - Bad Prints

Hi

I am having problems with my wireless printer.
I managed to connect and install it with the cups packages available on AUR.

I can print but the resault is really bad when i try to print photos.
Compared to when i print from my mac it is day and night.
The picture is very bright and grainy

Have any one had the same issue? How did you solve it?
Any suggestions on how to improve the print quality?

Have you installed any driver?

Yes
I have installed the Canon PIXMA MG5450 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.3.3 driver

Have you tried uninstalling gutenprint and printing without it? Also, Have you tried adjusting gamma and saturation on the printing properties?

No I have not done that.
How do I uninstall the Gutenprint drivers? When I try to update the drivers I can only find drivers with Gutenprint included.

Thank you for the help

But where did you find the drivers? From print configuration utility?

Yes the drivers are from the CUPS. So if I add a printer either via the printer utility or via the CUPS web interface its the same list of drivers.

I have not jet found another specific PPD from canons website or any other site that has workes yet.

Update:
I have recived som better results when I played around with the settings.
If I use manual control on printer quality and change the color correction to uncorrected I get a better result.

If any body has a canon pixma printer with good reaulsts plz chare your settings.
