Popping and delay when playing audio through Digital Stereo

Hello,

I’ve been encountering an issue where I experience popping and delayed audio start when playing sound through a digital stereo output. The issue is similar to when powersave is enabled in Pulseaudio and while disabling powersave fixes the popping/delay for analog outputs, the issue persists in the digital output. I’m unsure if there are different configuration files for digital audio but the issue makes it seem like powersaving does not get disabled for digital audio whatsoever.

I have tested this with both Pulseaudio and Pipewire-pulse and the issue is the exact same in both.

The audio portion of my inxi output is the following:

Audio: Device-1: NVIDIA GP102 HDMI Audio vendor: Micro-Star MSI driver: N/A bus-ID: 01:00.1
           Device-2: Logitech OrbiCam type: USB driver: snd-usb-audio,uvcvideo bus-ID: 1-5:3
Device-3: ASUSTek Xonar SoundCard type: USB driver: hid-generic,snd-usb-audio,usbhid bus-ID: 3-1:2
           Sound Server-1: ALSA v: k5.10.22-1-MANJARO running: yes
           Sound Server-2: JACK v: 0.125.0 running: no
           Sound Server-3: PulseAudio v: 14.2 running: no
           Sound Server-4: PipeWire v: 0.3.23 running: yes

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
