Pop-up everytime I right click WALC (Remote control requested)

Hello everyone,

everytime I right click WALC - a program from the AUR for a WhatsApp Application on Linux - I get a pop-up that says

# Remote control requested
An application requested access to
   - Input devices

Share | Cancel

I’ve searched for this pop-up online and have found the Application Permissions in the system settings.
Changing that to always allow, did not stop this pop-up from happening.
Of course, sharing the “remote control” saves it for a laptop session. When rebooting, I have to share it again.

If somebody knows what this pop-up means and how to mitigate it or save cross-section I’d be very glad. From my research I do not understand what it does and why it pops up.

Thanks for any help!

If needed, my inxi:

That issue has (hopefully) been fixed in Plasma 6.4:

This is what the System Settings - Legacy X11 App Support page looks like on my Testing branch system, which is currently running Plasma 6.4.5:

That is because the application wants to control input devices directly.

It is a safety protocol used by Plasma Wayland. If you know what it means in the context of the launched application you can simply accept it.

Oh, I thought I was already running Plasma 6.4! My bad - I haven’t checked that; but yes this option is not available for me yet.

That makes sense.

I have to admit, I do not know what it exactly means in the context of the application. I know what it does, when I accept it → the right click in the taskbar works

Thanks, then I will wait until plasma 6.4 is out for everyone / verified / insert correct idiom here
