Hello, currently trouble shooting performance problems on kernel 5.14. I am getting unstable frame-rates and horrible frame-time lag, the frame-time lag is especially interesting as if I move my mouse around frame-time will spike to around 30+ milliseconds, with no mouse movement frame-time settles but overall FPS is about half of what I have been getting prior to 5.14.
I poked around a bit at tried forcing power profiles to high performance with no change. Reverting to kernel 5.13 restores expected performance. I am fine with staying on 5.13 but I am concerned about how long I can if the root issue is not resolved prior to 5.13’s EOL. My hardware does not work well with the latest 5.10 LTS.
I understand this is an upstream issue but I am also unsure about where to file a bug report / or where most of these conversations are happening.
This issue persists. So as I had feared I am stuck between what I think are broken (for 6900xt?) drivers on 5.14, I can no longer use 5.13 due to EOL, and 5.10 is incompatible with my hardware.
