Plasma is completely crashing when i open or close pycharm, run xrandr or even inxi

It looks like you have screen configuration issues.

Do you have any special screen configuration which may make pycharm crash?

I see references to plasma trying to configure screen using xrandr - this indicates X.org - and if that is true - try switching to Wayland.

I was just trying to use wayland yesterday but there are far to many things that dont work on it, like even my trackpad does not work properly and thats a deal breaker on its own.

Libinput, the input handling library for Wayland, does not automatically detect the transition between a single finger touch and a two-finger scroll gesture. This is due to the nature of how touch events are handled and interpreted by libinput. I cannot use the two-finger scroll unless I either completely stop all single-finger movement first, then carefully put down the second finger, then two-finger scroll, or I can completely remove both fingers and then place the two fingers down together…

No, my lasy post was from a brand new installation anyhow. Nothing installed except the default.

Iv just had notice that someone has said that the origonal plasma crashing is fixed in today’s update and/or kernal 613 / im updating now to take a look.

Plasma is crashing after suspend since last big update

I just upgraded to Kernel 6.13 and it appears to be fixed

i dont know if the sleep cycle is still causing the plasma crash as in the bug mentioned, but unfortunately it is still crashing when i launch pycharm
