Placement of system tray

Hey KDE group -
I’m a new KDE user and am stuck with on a DE nit that’s bugging me and I don’t know how to fix it. Have looked at guides but I guess I’m just not seeing how to correct this.

On the panel I keep getting the system tray icons and my application icons bunched together, in this case on the left. I would like the system tray items in the right corner and the app icons on the left or in the center. In edit mode I can move the tray items but they return to “left flush” so to speak.

You have to enter edit mode and add a variable-width spacer between your launchers and the system tray.
