Pinebook - Kodi, Riot, TuxKArtRacing

Hi, when I try to run Kodi on PinebookPro, I will get this error:

/usr/lib/kodi/kodi-x11: error while loading shared libraries: libsndio.so.7.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

someone had similar problem ? I read this: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=8683&page=2
...and I can ask if on pinebook run Riot.im and TuxKartRacing
thank you

Pretty sure this issue was fixed with a rebuild recently. It might not be in stable branch yet.

You can run riot.im from the website. Currently their client does not build on ARM. :frowning:

TuxKartRacing should be able to run.

thank you, your information was useful :+1:
but may I ask, how to improve performance in STK ? because:

glxinfo | grep version
server glx version string: 1.4
client glx version string: 1.4
GLX version: 1.4
Max core profile version: 0.0
Max compat profile version: 2.1
Max GLES1 profile version: 1.1
Max GLES[23] profile version: 2.0
OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 20.0.7
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20
OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 2.0 Mesa 20.0.7
OpenGL ES profile shading language version string: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 1.0.16

I should install GLES3, somehow ?

Setting the graphics settings and resolution to 720 makes a big difference, however there are some missing objects due to the low OpenGL version. I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with GL ES 3 and there are still visual glitches, so I would watch out for them if I were you. As for downloading it, there is not a package in the repositories for aarch64 and the AUR version is not compatible either, but Flathub has a build that functions just fine (or at least fine for an OpenGL 2 device). as @Strit said you can use riot.im/app and if you have chromium you can add it to your application menu with the "create shortcut" option and have it open like its own app (you will still need internet to access it though)

sudo pacman -S sndio
this will install the needed library. It was build day before yesterday with sndio as dependency, will push it to all branches tonight.

thank you guys for your afford,
Kodi works fine, 1080p is lagging but 720p is OK so thank you I am appreciate it :slightly_smiling_face:

Hopefully we should have video decoder working soon  so you can even do 4k

Hi, have someone problem like this: ?

Ah looks like libcec got updated.
I will test it and if it fails to will have to rebuild it again.

Thanks for reporting.

thank you for fix with last update  I must find donate button on your webside

Yes finally got it to compile as microhttpd and libcec have been updated.
Here are the options to donate to the project.
