PAN VPN Connection fails after an update (again)

Hello, After the last update in KDE the VPN connection stopped working. Specifically a PAN Globalprotect connection. When trying to connect it restarts the task manager icons and closes the application.

Any suggestions?

Regards

Talk to the people providing the service.

Rebuilt the AUR package providing the software.

globalprotect-openconnect is not an AUR package; it’s in the Manjaro repository.

Ohh - I didn’t think of checking.

There’s very few vpn providers in the repo.

Hello, I can access as usual after the update.

Have you tried to delete the VPN and add it again?

Regards.

Hi. Conection deleted and added again. Same result. Anyway. I’ve tried it on a laptop with the same KDE installation and it didn’t fail there. The only related updated packages are :

NetworkManager
NetworkManager-qt

I will try reinstalling the operating system.

“secrets: failed to request VPN secrets #3: No agents were available for this request.”

on NetworkManager log

Also reproduce on another PC with same version (KDE). Tested before and after the update and matches the latest update

After a clean installation of manjaro KDE 21.3.7 the VPN connection to the PAN server was successful. After a pacman -Syyu and reboot. failure after checking the server certificate. Result of ksystemlog (all instantaneous after the crash) :

Crash deletes almost all icons on the bottom right side (except clock, network and copy icons). You can’t test it again until you reboot the system.

Please help!

Thanks

Hello,

I have the same issue but with vpnc (Cisco anyconnect). The symptoms totally match mine. It happened after latest update.
