I know there have been some older threads on this topic but I think it is time to revisit it.
I have been testing Wayland on Cinnamon, and on my Spin and there are only two items that I can find that are not functioning or functioning properly.
One is certain remote desktop software, but that is Wayland wide, not specific to Cinnamon.
The other is the Pamac Tray Icon, but the tray icon appears to be running in the background because the popup notification shows there are updates, but no icon itself.
Now in Cinnamon when using Wayland, Xapp Status Applet must be running for most tray icons to appear but still no change.
Also, it does not matter if it is pamac-gtk or pamac-gtk3 that is installed.
Any ideas from the community?
