Why doesn’t pamac follow the default icon theme set by the user. It is always using the adwaita theme as far as i can tell.
It follows the gtk icon theme I have set. It doesn’t for you?
The application icons of appliactions in the repo are defined in appstream, so we can’t change those.
The listed applications won’t, no. Because those are defined by Appstream.
The icon’s pamac does use from the theme is the arrow buttons, close stuff etc.

Because it’s controlled by Appstream. It’s a place where the application developers can define stuff about their application, like icon, screenshots, description etc.
