Pamac froze laptop while building Veloren

Was building Veloren from AUR, then it ate up both RAM and swap and I had to hard reboot. Photo below shows frozen screen before manual reboot. After reboot, it seems Pamac didn’t install Airshipper which the games uses as launcher. I wonder if somehow it works as requirement for the Veloren AUR package.

Any ideas?

Output of inxi -v7 --filter. Btw this RAM is brand new working perfectly.

Hi, I’m one of the veloren developers. :slightly_smiling_face:

The veloren package builds veloren from scratch which can be very RAM hungry. I would recommend installing Airshipper which is available via the airshipper package.
