Pamac doesn't detect new updates in Unstable branch

That is only a recommendation or suggestion - not a requirement - mirror providers are free to choose other schedules perhaps tailored to fit some local requirements or at certain use case - e.g. the mirror I provided (taken down as part of my retirement) a mirror which synced every 5m - which fitted the purpose of my testing of packages and ISO building perfectly.

Sync timestamp is stuck yet again. Yet, I still get notifications from new updates. The Refresh button does absolutely nothing.

refresh_timestamp file appears to be owned by root, and others can only view it.

Yup, it seems the file has wrong permissions. Never touched these permissions myself.
pamac-tray-plasma[89945]: touch: cannot touch '/var/tmp/pamac/dbs/sync/refresh_timestamp': Permission denied
This occurs when I press the Refresh button.
