[pacman-mirrors] 4.11.5 - another https related bugfix

Another bugfix release

sudo pacman -U https://manjaro.moson.eu/pool/overlay/pacman-mirrors-4.11.5-2-any.pkg.tar.xz

My brain must be fried. The temperature in Aarhus, DK is about 28 degrees celcius and about to rise the coming days so these last days has been tough as I keep finding myself forgetting to check all the possible mirrorlist outcomes of pacman-mirrors.

The temperature is nothing compared to other places in the world - I guess central Europe is gasping in heat - my brain is not used to such high temperatures. As most people I am best at temperatures around 20 degrees celcius.

This time - I was struck by - what if the user had made protocol limitations in pacman-mirrors.conf?

Guess what - the issue returned - mirrors with invalid certificates was present in the mirror list.

I have now stressed pacman-mirrors with every possible combination I could think of.

  1. sudo pacman-mirrors -c all
  2. sudo pacman-mirrors -f
  3. sudo pacman-mirrors -c Germany
  4. sudo pacman-mirrors -c Germany -i
  5. sudo pacman-mirrors -aP https -c Germany
  6. sudo pacman-mirrors -aP https http -c Germany -i
  7. sudo pacman-mirrors -aP http https -c Germany -i
  8. sudo pacman-mirrors -aP https http -c Germany
  9. sudo pacman-mirrors -aP http https -c Germany

All creating the expected mirror list

Just did the update to 4.11.5. Everything is working fine without any issues.

Is it on testing branch? I am with 4.11.4-1

sudo pacman -U https://manjaro.moson.eu/pool/overlay/pacman-mirrors-4.11.5-2-any.pkg.tar.xz

Should work for you, I’ve done this on my stable systems without problem.
