Hi,
My first post in Manjaro Forums.
Question: Ornara was not released yet officially. If I install it as it is available right now (rc) and as Manjaro is a rolling release do I have to re-install again when Ornara will be released OR I’m good to go and never again install Manjaro again?
TIA.
Hello @calvaria
Open a terminal and type:
lsb_release -a
What do you see?
On stable branch i have already ornara:
$ lsb_release -a
LSB Version: n/a
Distributor ID: ManjaroLinux
Description: Manjaro Linux
Release: 21.0
Codename: Ornara
So why installing it? The codenames are just names for snapshots, not like a new OS or a new fixed release. It is a rolling OS.
If you want to test or even use the unstable branch, then just switch:

Thanks. I will but I didn’t install it yet, just asking.
