Hi
,
Well then, “step by step help” is something you might expect from Support services that you pay for. The Manjaro forum is mainly a community of volunteers dedicating some of their time to help fellow members.
Did I mention, these volunteers are not paid? They are not. Please keep this in mind before dictating how help should be provided.
Textual information should always provided as text rather than an image of text, which will allow it to be found in search results. Images do not allow this, and frequently create undesired server load.
Please post the exact error message (as text).
Oh, look – a kind Moderator has done this for you.
Using *-fetch type applications may provide sufficient information for someone wishing to buy your computer, but for Support purposes it’s best to ask your system directly.
Please provide system information as described (below).
See the links provided (also below) to learn how to post code or command output as preformatted text in accordance with forum guidelines.
Learn the differences between posting as preformatted text or as a quote, and when each should be used; again, see the links below, particularly those marked with
.
Examples;
```
this becomes a scrollable preformatted text box
Note: The ` key can be found under Esc on a typical full keyboard; on laptop keyboards it may be located elsewhere. ![]()
We all make typos sooner or later. Please make sure to correct them before you post; this demonstrates a certain respect for other members.
Regarding your issue;
I’m sure someone will offer to help when they are able.
In the meantime, have you searched the forum? There are many topics that might be helpful.
Regards.
Welcome to the Manjaro community
As a new or infrequent forum user, please take some time to familiarise yourself with Forum requirements, and the many ways to use the forum to your benefit:
Update Announcements
The Update Announcements contain important information and a Known Issues and Solutions section that should generally be checked before posting a request for support.
System Information
Output of this command (formatted according to forum requirements) may be useful for those wishing to help:
inxi --filter --verbosity=8
or the short form:
inxi -zv8
Be prepared to provide more information and outputs from other commands whenever asked. It’s equally important to provide as much actionable information as possible in your first post, rather than simply indicating there is a problem.
