OpenModelica from AUR

Hey there,
I just installed OpenModelica and now I cant start it.

I tried

pamac list --files ompenmodelica

It says it installed to /user/share, but I dont really know what to look for. I have been using modelica with Windows. Just typing “OMedit” in KRunner did not do the trick either.

How does this work?

According to the user guide you should be using

OMEdit

…if you run that from terminal, what happens?

List of stuff that ends in /usr/bin for this package

$ l
FMIWrapper
omc
omc-diff
OMEdit
OMNotebook
OMPlot
OMShell
OMShell-terminal
OMSimulator
OMSimulatorPython3
StartTLMFmiWrapper

OMSimulatorPython3 and StartTLMFmiWrapper are bash scripts, the other are binaries

command not found

I want to start OMedit and if there is no .exe I am screwed, tbh.

type OMEdit in the terminal

I did:

zsh: command not found: OMedit

OMEdit not OMedit

OK, this is embarrasing. thx
