Only getting around 5fps when gaming after update...please help

As you can see I’m using Kernal 5.4.85-1 my system won’t boot into the KDE desktop if I use Kernal 5.10.2-2.

Only video-nvidia-390xx is installed, before the update it was video-nvidia-455xx.

Would installing xf86-video-nouveau help? or does this mean no more video support for the GTX 1070?

Forget everything you say. Remove the free driver, install the proprietary driver.

I uninstalled video-nvidia-390xx and installed video-nvidia

I will now try the kernal 5.10.2-2 I see if that works
