NVIDIA to AMD -> X11 fails to log in

I just swapped an NVIDIA 4080 for an AMD graphics card.

Now my Majaro install fails to log in if using GNOME (X11) mode. Wayland is fine but I need X11.

What happens if after I click my user name and enter the password on the graphical login screen, the screen blinks and I’m back on the graphical login screen.

I’m attaching logs from one such attempt.

In addition, I see in the logs that the system is still trying to use some NVIDIA bits - I’ve already removed “linux612-nvidia / nvidia-settings / nvidia-utils” - what other packages should I remove to completely make my system forget it ever had an NVIDIA graphics card?

Thanks!
