I recieved a new workstation which besides the Intel 630 is equipped with Nvidia Quadro P2000.
When I first booted the system I didn't have the time to install it properly so I removed it and used the Intel graphics.
Just this morning I decided to see if the fuzz on Nvidia has a merit.
The free driver don't work with this card - I got a bunch of errors on the monitors.
I rebooted using a ventoy USB and a Manjaro ISO.
Chrooted into the system and used mhwd to install the proprietary drivers.
mhwd -i pci video-nvidia-440xx
Rebooted the system - and what a pleasant surprise - it worked without hitches.
I had the trivial taskto adjust the location of the monitors by swapping the cables - and edit my polybar to display on the correct monitor.

I still have to see what happens on updates - but for now
