Nvidia Driver not working in hybrid setup since update

Hi there,

I updated my nvdia-utils to 520.xxx. Since then, no application nor nvidia-settings are able to find my GTX950M. I tried manual and automatic reinstallation of the drivers to no avail. I am a bit unsure what to try next.

Starting nvidia-settings yields this:

ERROR: NVIDIA driver is not loaded

(nvidia-settings:3914): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 15:08:47.529: g_object_unref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

ERROR: nvidia-settings could not find the registry key file or the X server is
not accessible. This file should have been installed along with this
       driver at
       /usr/share/nvidia/nvidia-application-profiles-key-documentation. The
application profiles will continue to work, but values cannot be
prepopulated or validated, and will not be listed in the help text.
Please see the README for possible values and descriptions.

Fixed it. I only had kernel515-rt installed.

Installing kernel515 non-rt fixed the problem and the nvidia drivers are loaded correctly.
