NVIDIA driver mismatch

I received this error when compiling a CUDA program with nvcc,
CUDA driver version is insufficient for CUDA runtime version

I can get my CUDA runtime version from -

[reik@reik-msi cuda-kernels]$ nvcc --version
nvcc: NVIDIA (R) Cuda compiler driver
Copyright (c) 2005-2020 NVIDIA Corporation
Built on Thu_Jun_11_22:26:38_PDT_2020
Cuda compilation tools, release 11.0, V11.0.194
Build cuda_11.0_bu.TC445_37.28540450_0

and I can get my CUDA driver version from -

[reik@reik-msi cuda-kernels]$ nvidia-smi -a

==============NVSMI LOG==============

Timestamp                           : Mon Aug 17 22:23:21 2020
Driver Version                      : 440.100
CUDA Version                        : 10.2

The CUDA versions in both are different. How do I fix this?

Also, I clearly need to update my NVIDIA driver, because CUDA 11 only supports driver >=450. But, I don’t see 450xx in my mhwd Hardware Configuration settings. Does that mean my card is not compatible and I should instead downgrade to CUDA 10?

Because it’s in unstable atm, not stable. You can swap to unstable if you need.

You can always use Manjaro Branch Compare to find where packages currently are.
