Nvaapi (video acceleration) on google chrome stable not working

I don’t think this is the right approach. For chrome you have to create ~/.config/chrome-flags.conf and populate it with the following:

--ignore-gpu-blocklist
--enable-gpu-rasterization
--enable-zero-copy
--enable-features=VaapiVideoDecoder

X11:

--use-gl=desktop
