NTFS or ExFat for shared drive

Was wondering if I should use ExFat or NTFS for a shared drive (not boot just data, games etc) between dualboot/vfio-passthrough windows 10 (I will be doing both thanks battleye) and Manjaro I know ExFat is relatively new but I also know that NTFS kinda dookie on linux

I’d use NTFS. There is no journaling with exFAT.

I personally would only use exFAT on small usb flash drives.

ah I see, thank you very much for your input

You can install GitHub - maharmstone/btrfs: WinBtrfs - an open-source btrfs driver for Windows on Windows and will be able to read/write on a btrfs partition.

I completely forgot about that, I will have to test that out and see how performant and stable it is.
