Nothing has changed

OK, well then I have no idea further. Post an updated inxi as above and hope and pray someone can help. Because:

You are very welcome, my friend! And homework’s no fun, no. Just like going to the dentist. You don’t want to, you don’t like it but you have to and when done you realize it could’ve been worse…

Here’s new inxi :

Who has an idea on how to fix this problem ?

Homework in itself isn’t fun, but the stuff i’m learning interests me, so I have to swim through it anyway :upside_down_face:

You may need to force a reinstallation.

pamac reinstall broadcom-wl-dkms

Thanks for helping. Something took an abnormal turn when I executed the command and proceeded to the reinstallation…

What do I do now ?

I have some aditionnal information though : I booted on the installation medium I created to see if it could find wifi, but it doesn’t. It gives the same error.

I don’t knowif this will help, but I also tried booting on Slitaz, which is also Debian-based, and it couldn’t find any wifi aswell… I know however that both installation mediums work fine, as they did work perfectly on another computer I have. i couldconnect to wifi on that computer on both slitaz and Manjaro, installed from the same bootable USB.

I hope this can be usefull…

What does the log say?

It says this :

Looks like there’s afatal error somewhere…

Do you know what to do next ?

I’ve found the solution to my problem.

I booted with open source drivers, but that didn’t work.
When I tried to boot with closed source drivers, poof, I got Wifi access.

So this explains that…
