No video in webpage, black window

#1

Hi there,
Since a while, when I access to some web pages that should allow me to see some videos, the picture that should show the first page of the video is black, I have no possibility to launch the video. When I reboot on Windoch 10, I have access to the videos.
I installed Adobe flash player, nothing better.
I'm running on kernel 4.19.32, cinnamon 4.0.10.
Any idea?

Which ones?

No need for that.
From terminal:
pacman -Qi mesa |grep Version
if is not 19.0.2-1 then run
sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyuu

What browser? Have you tried a different browser?

Flash should not be necessary as most sites don't use it anymore in favor of HTML5. It will be dead by next year.

Moved from #technical-issues-and-assistance:third-party-applications to #newbies as there is no third party application mentioned and requires more assistance.

(The "third-party application" was the website, but #newbies is also fine :wink:)

Google Chrome is video ready by default. If you have AUR enabled, install google-chrome from AUR. I use chromium-vaapi-bin myself but google-chrome is an easier solution.
