Brand new laptop. no sound. Most of the advice out there doesn’t work. It just says “dummy output” in sound settings. I don’t think the sound card is recognized.
Please post the output of inxi -Fazy and sudo dmesg | egrep -i '(snd|sound|alsa|hda|sof)'.
