No Sound from Laptop

I have a Samsung Galaxy Book Flex Alpha and all of a sudden the sound stopped working. The output is not detected by the software (it shows “Dummy Output”)

Any help would be helpful!

Thanks!

It seems all you need to do is install the sof-firmware package and reboot.

How do I do that?

sudo pacman -Syu sof-firmware; or open the “Add/remove software” application and search for “sof-firmware” and install it there.

Thanks so much! It worked!

this looks very familiar
