sudo dmesg | grep snd
doesn’t return anything
try the alsa-info.sh
version of this command
sudo dmesg | grep -C1 -E 'ALSA|HDA|HDMI|snd[_-]|sound|hda.codec|hda.intel'
hey guys thanks for all your help… I really appreciate it.
I installed windows and my sound came back.
after that I reinstalled manjaro now my sound came back.
still there is pulse audio eroor
E: [pulseaudio] main.c: pa_pid_file_create() failed.
but sound has no problem…

guys after 2 days to getting sound I have again lost it.
sudo dmesg | grep snd

Don’t know what to do , was beginning to like manjaro. guys can you please help
try
sudo alsa force-reload
sudo alsa force-reload

sudo: alsa: command not found

after a shutdown and turning off after sometime the sound is back.
what is happening here
Did you managed to fix the sound. I kinda have similar problems with my laptop too.
