You may want to run sudo mkinitcpio -P
and see the output
Iām not 100% sure but this is ānormalā when, at the beginning of the update, the kernel and initrd is removed, but then, the update doesnāt finish and no kernel or initrd is put back.
This is also normal when this script is run in chroot
(the text / error message means exactly that)
Do not worry - grub is not your problem.
You need to install a kernel.

What is this supposed to be a reply to?
Install a kernel.
Sorry, yes:
mhwd-kernel -i linux66
Please read carefully and install 6.12 or 6.1 and not 6.6 !
and please provide command + full output ! (not only selected lines)
no, that is not the output when you issue
How about some hardware info to begin with?
inxi -zv8
since the question arose whether you have enough free disk space

Anyway try running sudo mkinitcpio -P
the entire output:

How do I get the forum to stop cutting off the first part of my pasted text?
I guess this was the culprit, 6.10 has been removed from repositories after being quite a while EOL. An EOL kernel must be replaces with another one BEFORE it got removed. Another reason to follow Announcements before updating.
sudo mkinitcpio -P

Removing dead kernels is what started this.
I attempted to remove the no longer supported.
And, attempted to go from 11 to 12. But it failed because of nvida drivers.
After t hat no boot.
You need to take care on EOL kernels before updating.
I thought I was doing that.
You wrote āno kernel after updateā in the topic title.
