After updating, my computer wont load any GUI, I can barely get to TTY. I am not sure if this is because of new Nvidia drivers or, when I started the update, a warning prompt me about removing linux59-nvidia package.
I don’t even know how to start troubleshooting…
Any help is appreciated.
Ok, so I managed to rollback to linux59-nvidia, nvidia-utils-460.73.01-1 which fixed the issue for me.
That’s because the 5.9 kernel and modules are no longer in the repos. It has been EOL (End Of Life) since December. I highly recommend installing a stable and/or LTS (Long Term Support) kernel from Manjaro Settings Manager and remove 5.9.
same thing happened to me. How did you fix it exactly? What commands. I’ve just got terminal to boot to. I’m not even sure I I have no idea how to get either nvidia back or the kernel updated. I’m runnning KDE Plasma.
