No grub menu (on a normal BIOS)

I just installed Manjaro KDE (the latest one) and when I rebooted, I didn’t see the grub bootloader

I have a legacy BIOS system, so if your answer has to do with (U)EFI, I don’t want to hear it, it isn’t relevant

I tried to install grub 6 times and got nothing

edit /etc/default/grub and change GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden to GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu
Then on terminal run sudo update-grub
