No Boot after Manjaro update: Failed to mount NFSD configuration filesystem

Hi there,

I’m running Manjaro XFCE with LVM & LUKS. After an automatic update yesterday evening after shutdown, the system does not boot anymore.
The boot screen is showing …

You are in emergency mode. After logging in, type "journalctl -xb" to view system logs, "systemctl reboot" to reboot or "exit" to continue bootup.

Booting does not work. Even if I type “exit”.
Same problem with Kernel 5.15.140-1-MANJARO x64 and 6.1.64-1-MANJARO x64.

What can I do to get my system running again?

Hello @exaveal

Better later than never.

NFS needs a network connection. Keep sure that the nfs mount is running after a network connection was established.

You could try to boot with “fallback”-initrd :man_shrugging:

I chrooted in the system and die “update-grub” - everything works no again.
No idea, i do not have an entry in fstab regarding nfs. So there shouldn’t be any need for network connection.
