New updates have killed the system [2025 Sept 26th]

Maybe. We created a script called install-grub to simplify on how grub gets updated also on MBR/UEFI. However, it seems on some systems it is not good to do so. Since over one year it is pre-installed with our install medias: Install-grub: a new way to keep your EFI/MBR in-sync with grub package

Based on your log, however there is no issue with the grub installation.

Hammering ESC might load the UEFI firmware of the laptop. If that happens go to the boot override option, select the harddrive and continue to hammer ESC. Most likely the boot menu will appear.

Most issues I see lately are some sort of grub installation issues combined with Nvidia drivers.

For sure you can retry to restore the bootloader: GRUB/Restore the GRUB Bootloader - Manjaro

You can also try to install grub on some USB-Stick and add some known working boot entries to that grub.cfg file. In about 30 minutes some fresh install medias should be ready, which include all the updates for testing. I can link them later.
