I switched to Deepin OS, I did not like it (I don’t know why). I then switched to Mx Linux, I liked it but same problem happened. Then I switched back to Manjaro and found the solution. Here it is:
- Installed r8168-dkms (version 8.048.03-1) driver from package manager and removed any existing realtek driver.
- Created two files, /etc/modprobe.d/r8169_blacklist.conf, and /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf, and added below text on both the files.
- blacklist r8169
- Saved the files and restarted the system.
- The current active kernel is 5.7.15-1.
- There is certain benefits of using DKMS version of drivers.
The problem is resolved. Yay!!
I am loving Manjaro again.
