Network Manager reconnects every 2 seconds

Hi,
I have this problem that every 10 minutes or so the network manager reconnects to the wifi every two seconds or so. So it rapidly disconnects and connects again. I looked into journalctl and the thing that happens before every disconnect is the following line:
bgscan simple: Failed to enable signal strength monitoring
I tried searching for it on the web, but couldn’t find any useful information.
Here’s a longer journalctl snippet

I’m currently on kernel linux57. I can’t upgrade, because I believe the Nvidia Kernel Module is still missing.
Does anybody have a idea for how to fix this? Thanks.

Cheers,
Triton

I dont think so.
You are on EOL with outdated packages … you need to fix this.

Okay, I upgraded my Kernel to linux 59, but the error persists. At first everything seemed to work, but the next day the network errors started again. Everything works fine on my phone, so it isn’t our internet or wifi connection.
