"Network error" when downloading icon/themes etc after fresh Manjaro Installtion

https://0x0.st/XyYi.png

this happens for downloading every appearance settings like Application style, Icons, Cursors, Splash screen, Plasma style etc.

It worked before reinstalling Manjaro, and I didn’t change my network.

Thank you.

Can’t replicate - works here.

You did update your system after reinstalling Manjaro?

btw:
no screenshots please!
Send them to a sharing site
like https://0x0.st
and post the link instead

yes, I did update everything.
any information that I can/should provide?

update: btw, I’ve reinstalled two days ago. It wasn’t working from the start, I thought it was a temporary thing. Everything else working fine tho.

I would not know where to start. Sorry!
All I can say: works here on a fully updated and almost stock Plasma installation running in a VM.
I just checked with various icon sets and cursor themes.

no worries, Thank you for your fast responses.
If it is fixed I’ll update my post/comment.

You are welcome.

just an example what I meant re uploading screenshots to a sharing site and providing the link:

here I fetched the Windows 10 icon pack

This does periodically happen, and it was already happening in the days of Plasma 5 as well.

It is not clear whether it’s a bug in the application for installing new components from store.kde.org, or whether it’s a server error at store.kde.org’s end itself. I am under the impression that it may be the latter.

Done! I’ll keep that in mind in my future posts. Thank you :hugs:

Just to be sure, you meant posting link like this ^ (i.e. in blockquote), and not as plain text (which shows the actual image), right?

Yes, that did happen to me in plasma 5 as well, but it used to get fixed after a while or another try.
This time, it’s happening continuously for two days. So I thought there might be something wrong from my end.
Guess I’ll just wait.
thank you for your response.

Yes, correct - just like you did when you edited your post.
Or otherwise formatted - just not as plain text.
Although even that works - the image would appear as if you posted it here directly.
Thanks!
