what do you mean it got broken? what did you do?
I got it to sleep and brought back and screen said that. Im in virtual terminal now in tty2
i see … but i dont know how to help you out, first time seeing this… are you testing the latest manjaro iso? so type in the terminal:
systemctl reboot
Rebooting…
It did work
Before getting to sleep the speakers doesn’t work, the volume up and down buttons doesn’t work and the speaker icon shows red mark and say no output or input devices…
audio not working, those could be really a pain in the ass to troubleshoot…
are you running the latest iso? if not download the latest iso from here: Manjaro Downloads
flash it onto usb and test with it
I have the latest downloaded and flashed today
i see, post output from:
inxi -xA
uname -r
Audio shows up.
The driver too. All sound servers running unless the jack port
Manjaro version: 5.15.53-1-MANJARO
well yes it shows up, but wanted to know what kind of audio exactly are you running…
is fastboot disabled in windows, thats one of things that messes up audio in linux
I think its off. Let me see…
Turned on fastboot,
booting…
it should be turned off, not on …
Im not native in English, but…?
i see, i meant if its not disabled, it messes up the audio…
so post here output from:
inxi -xA
Here you go
But the audio still doesn’t want to obey and work…
i thought its one of those intel audios…
so possible fixes for the audio could be, removing pulse and using only pipewire; installing sof-firmware, and using a different kernel like the 5.18… but none of these may work, and you will not have audio on your pc, if you decide to install manjaro…
