Network and brightness

—Hi, i need help am using kde plasma ,kernel 5.0. IT Doesnt display my network either ethernet or wireless but connecting to the internet preety well plus my keybord brightness function stoped.help:neutral_face:

If it worked before installing 5.0 then I hope you kept the 4.19 to reboot into 4.19.

i didnt work before 4.19 either

i dont even have a WiFi or Ethernet settings on my system settings i only have Bluetooth setting

Use a live installer to post the network info from a live environment. Try using this live version to boot from. It does not use network manager, but connman instead.

How did you install if you had no Ethernet or Wi-Fi before either. I’m assuming at some point it was working. If so, on which kernel.

theres the output,my network is functioning well but i cannot add a wifi network i dont have the settings

You have a Wi-Fi card that is very difficult to get working. Search the forum for info, there are at least dozens of posts about that adapter. Bad luck, that is the worst Realtek adapter they make for support in Linux recently.
