Lateral panel lost

Hello there.
With the last update of GNOME (42) I lost the classic lateral panel and was replaced for the ugly macOS style (at the bottom with round corners). How can I recover the classic lateral panel?

Install the Vertical overview GNOME Shell Extension.

Thanks mate. but how can I make it take up all the vertical space and always be visible?

Fiddle with options for Vertical overview and Dash to Dock, I’m sure you’ll figure it out. I don’t use either, sorry.
