After experiencing it a few times I observed that whenever I tried to download the updates then the network speed in every other applications decreases. Sometimes sites won’t load in browsers during the time of download of updates and once the download finishes everything works just fine. Is there any way to fix this.
There is a package in AUR called ‘trickle’.
I haven’t used it, and I recommend reading the comments on the AUR page.

Download the updates at night before you go to sleep, install them in the morning

Get a bigger Internet pipe

Upgrade by doing a
trickle -d xxx pamac upgradeas @tharangalion mentioned where xxx=25% of your committed Internet speed.
