Need help installing a program, Polyglot

The program in question: draquet. github .io /PolyGlot/

There is a native linux aplication but I have only recently switched from Windows and I am honestly unsure how to install apps in manjaro outside of pamac. If anyone can help, idk what to search or what to do.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask.

Unfortunately this programme is not in the AUR and the developers only provide a .deb binary.

There are instructions in the github page on how to install from source (see readme_developers.txt):

I have made a pkgbuild for it, the desktop file is not ready (need some sed magic) but can be launched from terminal with either polyglot or PolyGlot

sudo pacman -Syyu --needed base-devel git
git clone https://github.com/FabioLolix/PKGBUILD-AUR_fix
cd PKGBUILD-AUR_fix/zz_wip_and_test/polyglot-bin
makepkg -sicC

polyglot
