Hello everyone!
I finally decided to do my first steps in linux, and installed it on a rather mediocre HP laptop I was given after succeeding a training event. After browsing the web for a couple of hours I decided to go with manjaro/gnome de, as it was discribed beginner friendly and popular among developers, and I also liked the looks.
The installation was easy and went well. Unfortunately the wifi was not set up, so I tried to set it up manually. Then it occured to me that it might not be possible at all due to driver issues. After more than three hours of reading and trial and error I eventually think it´s time to seek help in the community…
In other threads I learned that the specs might be useful, so here they are:

Wired connection is working, so this can go the “easy” way, yet I might need very detailled intel to get it done… Thanks a lot in advance!
