No Partition to Install on (S.O.S)

I went to go install Manjaro on this old laptop, but for some reason No Partiton to Install on appeared, so i tried to update the BIOS because it doesnt have the option to disable legacy boot. The driver was a .exe, great. So i tried to install wine but a corrupt file would not allow it to install… Extremely confused, im a beginner. Laptop: EliteBook 8460p

You could try booting with a WindowsPE disk and running the BIOS/UEFI update .exe file from the WindowsPE environment. A good example of a WindowsPE disk would be Hirens Boot CD, PE Edition:

This is often caused by the disk setup in your system firmware.

Systems are usually setup to run Windows - so change your system to use AHCI.
