ich habe hier ein DellLaptop mit Dockingsstation da ich am Laptop keinen RJ45 Anschluss mehr habe, 3Monitore betreibe etc.
Nun ist mir schon wiederholt aufgefallen, das nach einem Kernelupdate innerhalb der 6.1er und aktuell: 6.1.29-1-MANJARO (64-bit) immer wieder nach einem reboot die NIC nicht vorhanden ist. Die letzen mal reichte ein nochmaliges rebooten, beim letzten mal waren es 3,4, 5 reboots und dann war die NIC da.
Wie kann ich das in Zukunft vermeiden, das die NIC wieder weg ist oder ich sie eben direkt wieder aktivieren kann?
Sonnst habe ich bisher an meinem DELL Latitude 7530 nicht festgestellt, alles läuft gut (ist aber eher als ein stationärer PC genutzt, also weniger mobile work) bis auf den Fingerprintreader. Da geht gar nichts…

The finger print reader (0a5c:5843 Broadcom) can be made to work on manjaro: https://github.com/dsd/fprintd/issues/3#issuecomment-1373851427 . Note the guy say it works on 0a5c:5834 Broadcom but actually got it working on 0a5c:5843 Broadcom only (0a5c:5834 Broadcom Corp. - Device Support · Issue #3 · dsd/fprintd · GitHub).
According to this: HW probe of Dell Latitude 7530 #4844568edb 0a5c:5843 Broadcom is the one used in your laptop.
